COOL QUBES

Cool Qubes are the first Folded Poetry foray into free-standing sculpture. They are composed of three fold-up shapes which match faces with one another to allow for endless combinations of sculptural expression.

The impetus and deadline to develop Cool Qubes was a design camp workshop in Durham, NC during March of 2023. The workshop demonstrated that children as young as twelve are able to effectively explore architecture and sculpture through Cool Qubes.

Easily scalable, one can imagine Cool Qubes on an architectural scale as public art sculptures.
